• From Kuala Lumpur: Direct flights are available daily from both KLIA (Malaysia Airlines) and KLIA2 (AirAsia), with a flight time of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

• From Other Cities: If your departure city doesn’t have a direct flight, the most convenient route is to transit via Kuala Lumpur.

• From Overseas: International travelers can fly into Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and then connect to a domestic flight to Kuching.

Kuching city centre is just 15–20 minutes from the airport. For transport to your hotel or venue:

• You may arrange a transfer directly with your hotel in advance (recommended for convenience).

• Book Early: For the best rates and availability, it’s recommended to book your accommodation early — especially during peak travel seasons, weekends, or when major events are happening. Compare prices on trusted travel platforms, but you may also find exclusive offers when booking directly through hotel websites.

• Currency & Payments: Malaysia uses the Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and most urban areas. However, it’s a good idea to carry some cash for smaller businesses, food stalls, or local markets where card facilities may not be available.

• Access to Cash: ATMs are widely available and accept most international cards for withdrawals. Currency exchange is also available at money changers in airports, malls, and the city centre. Both options are safe and convenient — just be sure to notify your bank in advance if needed.
